Potential Tropical Cyclone 8 continues to churn off the South Carolina coast and should bring us beneficial rain late Monday through Tuesday. PTC 8 could briefly become Tropical Storm Helene late this afternoon or evening. As the system develops, it could bring heavy rain and winds to the Upstate as it moves onshore by the end of the day.
