Cold Case: Police seek answers in 1978 stabbing death of woman at Greenville hotel

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Greenville Police Department is seeking answers in the cold case of Norma Lanyon Jackson. According to the department, Jackson, a 43-year-old single mother of three, was found lifeless in the Cabana Inn’s lobby, located at 407 North Main Street, on Oct. 12, 1978. She worked at the hotel as a night clerk.
