RALEIGH, N.C. — What can be said that’s hasn’t already been detailed to this point already? In what was another underwhelming showing for Dave Doeren’s crew Saturday afternoon in Death Valley, NC State was overpowered and outmatched from the opening kickoff as the Wolfpack have dropped their second marquee game in lopsided fashion while in front of a national audience in as many weeks. While the play of CJ Bailey represents the lone bright spot for NC State moving forward, the Wolfpack will have to go back to the drawing board as Northern Illinois, who comes off a win against Notre Dame in South Bend, come into Carter Finley next weekend.
