GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — Deputies with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in connection to the death of a woman who was found in a parked car.
On September 18, deputies were sent to a home on Highway 8 after a caller noticed an unrecognizable car parked outside of a home.
Upon arrival, officials found 41-year-old Mindy McDonald shot dead in the passenger seat.
According to the sheriff’s office, Phillip Charles Reeves, 40, was arrested the same day of the alleged murder.
Reeves is accused of shooting McDonald after an interaction between the two.
The sheriff’s office said that Reeves left the scene on foot and was subsequently taken to the Greenville County Detention Center with no bond.
Reports detail Reeves had a large amount of blood on him.
