Spartanburg, SC – Tropical Storm Helene is set to bring widespread heavy rain and severe weather conditions to the Greenville-Spartanburg area starting today, Wednesday, with impacts peaking through Thursday and into early Friday. Up to 10-15 inches of rain is expected in parts of western South Carolina, with flash flooding posing the greatest risk. Areas along I-85 and I-26, including Spartanburg, will see the most intense weather conditions.
