Clemson’s top wide receiver target in the 2026 recruiting class made amajor announcement on Tuesday.
4-star in-state wideout Donovan Murph announced during an Instagram live this would be his final high school season at Irmo and he would reclassify to the 2025 class.
Murph was the first receiver in the 2026 class to pick up an offer from Clemson and he was most recently on campus for the NC State game. Murph has also visited South Carolina, Alabama and North Carolina and still plans to get to Auburn and Tennessee.
Murph plans to sign during the early signing period in December.
The Clemson coaching staff has been telling the blue-chip talent that he would have an opportunity to come in and make an immediate impact.
“I could definitely see myself coming in and making an impact early,” Murph told The Clemson Insider recently. “Coach Grisham and them, they have definitely told me that as well. And in that offense they know how to get their playmakers the ball. Especially lately, they have been able to get young guys involved.”
