GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. – “Be patient” and “Be safe” are the messages coming from Greenville County leaders this afternoon as crews continue to restore power in the upstate. “This is going to be the roughest period to some degree because it’s going to be incremental,” says Greenville County Council Chairman Dan Tripp, “A lot of the power restoration over the last couple of days has been a low-hanging fruit. But now you’re getting into areas where you’re having to clear, trees that are wrapped up in power lines.”
