Man allegedly connected to three Greenville Co. shootings arrested

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — Deputies arrested a man who was allegedly involved in three shootings in one week.

According to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, 23-year-old Milton Salvador Murillo was arrested on Tuesday for unrelated charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and drug possession.

Officials said that during the investigation, detectives determined that Murillo was allegedly responsible for two shootings that occurred Monday , and one that took place on September 25.

Murillo was charged with the following:

  • two counts of attempted murder
  • assault and battery – 1st degree
  • three counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime
  • discharging a firearm into a dwelling

September 25: Cedar Lane Road

The first shooting, investigators said, occurred on Cedar Lane Road. Officials accused Murillo of shooting at a victim during a road rage incident.

The victim was not injured in the gunfire.

September 30: Dixie Circle and 2nd Avenue

Dixie Circle Dispute

The first shooting occurred at Dixie Circle on Tuesday morning. Investigators said that Murillo was confronting someone regarding a dispute between a family member and shot towards the victim multiple times.
