Spartanburg’s restaurants are stepping up to help with hurricane relief this weekend.
The SC Restaurant and Lodging Association’s Spartanburg chapter and its hospitality fund Hubitality have organized a fundraising campaign to raise money for special disaster assistance grants for Spartanburg hospitality employees affected by Hurricane Helene.
During their Dine Out Spartanburg event this weekend, participating restaurants will donate a portion of their sales to the Hubitality Employee Relief Fund. All of the restaurants will contribute at least $500 to the fund.
Participating restaurants include CityRange Steakhouse Grill, Delaney’s Irish Pub, Dray Bar & Grill, Flock Shop, FR8yard, Gerhard’s Cafe, Heirloom – A Milltown Eatery, Isla’s on the Square, Willy Taco’s Spartanburg and Boiling Springs locations, Rick Erwin’s Level 10 and Wade’s restaurant.
Chris Olsen, president and CEO of Hub City Hospitality, which includes the two Willy Taco locations, Flock Shop and FR8yard, said Hub City Hospitality had been involved with Hubitality since it launched in 2022.
