SPARTANBURG, South Carolina – Denny’s, the popular restaurant chain with nearly 1,600 locations nationwide, announced it is planning to close 150 of its restaurants. Restaurant Business reports that Denny’s is targeting locations that have been performing poorly, “sapping the whole system’s vitality.” About half of the locations will be closed by the end of the year, with the other half closing in 2025.
