Spartanburg man sentenced after 2nd drug dealing conviction

A Spartanburg man will spend more than a decade in prison for trafficking cocaine. 39 year old, Maurice Suber entered a guilty plea Thursday to a federal charge of conspiring to distribute cocaine.

Court evidence showed that Suber distributed cocaine in the Highland Neighborhood on Spartanburg over the last few years. A search warrant executed at Suber’s home in late 2022 turned up guns and cash.

Court records show Suber had a previous conviction of conspiring to distribute cocaine. He has been sentenced to nearly 12 years in federal prison. The judge also ordered a forfeiture of nearly 4 million dollars.
