SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — Whataburger announced that its first location in Spartanburg will open on Monday, Oct. 28.
The restaurant will be located at 1941 East Main Street and features a double drive-thru, spacious dining room and digital menu boards to serve guests.
Officials said the first two guests in the drive-thru lane and the first two in line for the dining room will each receive free Whataburger for a year. The following 200 customers will get special Whataburger swag.
The grand opening will begin at 11 a.m.
The Spartanburg location is one of eight that the restaurant announced would be coming to the Upstate in 2024.
