Attorney General says Upstate woman exploited vulnerable adult

A former employee at an Upstate nursing home is facing charges involving a vulnerable adult. The South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson says 37 year old, Lamesha Thompson is charged with identity fraud, exploiting a vulnerable adult and two counts of forgery.

Thompson worked as a CNA at White Oak Estates in Spartanburg, Officials say she forged two checks in the name of a patient that totaled over $12,000. The case will be prosecited by the SC Attorney General’s Office.
