Police responded to a bomb threat at an Upstate Walmart, Tuesday. Officers from the Central Police Department responded to the Walmart on 18 Mile Road around 415 yesterday afternoon.
The Anderson County Bomb Squad and Clemson University Police bomb dogs were called in to investigate. The store was evacuated but no credible threat was found.
Police say the phone number that was used to call in the threat was traced out of state. No arrests have been announced and no further details have been released, as of the time of this report.
