Fall For Greenville
GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – Fall for Greenville kicks off Friday. The festival, which was delayed due to Helene, has been a staple in the Upstate for 43 years.
“It’s been the thing on the calendar that people look to, so the mark of our community for when we turn the page from summer to fall, it’s a really exciting event,” President and CEO of Visit Greenville SC Heath Dillard said.
More than 80 bands are slated to play seven stages and 60 plus restaurants are serving plates and tastes. Dillard said the event brings around 150,000 people together from all walks of life for three days of food, music and entertainment.
“We see a huge majority of those visitors coming from 250 miles… the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee – are really important to us from a visitor standpoint. Those are people who know Greenville really well,” Dillard said.
According to Dillard, Fall for Greenville has drawn visitors from more than 33 different states making Greenville one of the most popular destinations in the southeast.
