Next week America will honor all that served in the military to protect our freedoms. Veterans Day is Monday and several events are set for the Upstate and Western North Carolina.
On Monday, the Upstate Salute Concert will be held at Fluor Field in Greenville starting at 5PM. In Spartanburg County, a monument will be dedicated at 11AM at Veteran’s Pointe Park at Duncan Park.
A Veteran’s Day Parade will be held there starting at 4PM. The parade route will end at Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium. In Anderson County the Veteran’s Parade will be held on South McDuffie Street Sunday starting at 3PM.
Parades are also scheduled Monday in the Western North Carolina towns of Columbus and Black Mountain.
