There have been three supermoons so far this year, occurring consecutively in August, September, and October.
The last one will rise in November, and the day is coming up fast.

When will the supermoon rise?
The supermoon will be fully illuminated at 4:28 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15. It will cross the sky beside the Pleiades star cluster or the “Seven Sisters” in the Taurus constellation, according to Democrat & Chronicle .
What is a supermoon?
A supermoon occurs when the moon is full on the day it is at its closest distance to the earth, a term called a pedigree, per the Weather Channel . For three consecutive months, this phenomenon has taken place, which began with August’s Blue Moon, followed by September’s Harvest Moon and October’s Hunter Moon.
