Warrant reveals details of Greenville Co. school board member’s arrest

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Officials have shared more details about the arrest of a member of the Greenville County Schools’ Board of Trustees.

According to county records, Sarah Dulin was arrested on Christmas Eve and charged with third degree domestic violence .

The Greenville County Schools Board of Trustees’ website said Dulin represents Area 27 in the county.

A warrant from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office shows the incident occurred Dec. 23, when Dulin allegedly struck her husband in the head with a tumbler mug.

The report said Dulin’s alleged actions injured her husband.

The warrant reported that Dulin and her husband live together.

The board’s public roster said Dulin is a full-time parent, and that she previously worked as an educator and small-business owner.

District Board Chair Dr. Carolyn Styles explained that she is aware a trustee was arrested and that she has informed the board.

“I will continue to monitor the situation and keep the Board informed of any developments,” Styles said. “As always, the Board remains committed to ensuring the children in our community receive the best education possible and can thrive in their current and future pursuits.”
