I suppose it’s understandable, but typically when I ask someone is they know who Andrew Pickens was, I get that slack-jawed, deer-in-the-headlights look that says, “Nope, don’t have a clue.”. Now to be clear, this is someone for whom both the city of Pickens and Pickens County…..
