SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of a detainee at the Spartanburg County Detention Center on Thursday night.
The coroner said a 45-year-old man was found hanging in his cell. An autopsy report and further testing are pending, but the coroner said at this time, there is no information indicating another person was involved.
