Clemson’s ACC Tournament run came to a bitter end in Charlotte on Friday night, but it wasn’t just the loss that had Tigers fans fuming. The officiating, which has been a major point of contention throughout the tournament, took center stage once again as No. 3 seed Clemson fell 76-73 to No. 2 seed Louisville in the semifinals.
From questionable calls to outright missed whistles, fans took to social media to voice their frustration, not just with the officiating in the Clemson-Louisville matchup, but with the entire ACC Tournament. One fan tweeted, “I’m gonna need a video put together of all the terrible calls and no calls from ACC refs during the ACC Tournament. From the Pitt game to the Clemson ending last night, it’s been a terrible showing.”
