Nurse accused of stealing drugs from patients at South Carolina nursing home

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTV) – A nurse allegedly stole pain medicine from patients at a South Carolina nursing home, which led to her arrest this week.

The nurse, 34-year-old Erin Homan, worked at Angel Oak Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Myrtle Beach, when she was accused of taking Tramadol from two patients in October 2024.

South Carolina state officials launched an investigation and said Homan took the medicine for her own personal use and “deprived the two vulnerable adult residents of their prescribed medication.”…
