South Carolina & North Carolina: Strong Winds, Fire Danger, and Light Snow Through Friday Morning

Greenville, SC – A strong cold front will bring gusty winds and light precipitation to parts of North and South Carolina today and tonight, with a Wind Advisory in effect for the North Carolina mountains.

According to the National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg, wind gusts between 35-50 mph are expected across the mountains, creating potential hazards such as downed trees and power outages. Additionally, dry air combined with strong winds may increase fire danger in the region.
