An Upstate man is facing charges for neglecting his mother following her death. The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office responded in January to a home on Bagwell Road and found an elderly woman on the floor, unconscious.
She was transported to the hospital, where she died shortly after. The woman has been identified as 86 year old, Carolyn Wemett.
