SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – The Upstate could see severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon into early evening.
Storms with damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes are possible.
A line of showers and thunderstorms will begin to move into the area from the west after noon and should leave the area by around 7 p.m.
Best chances for severe weather will be along and south of Interstate 85.
The main threat from the storms will be strong straight-line winds and quarter-sized hail.
