3 charged in connection to deadly shooting at hookah lounge in Greenville Co.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Three suspects were arrested in connection to a deadly shooting of a 22-year-old at a hookah lounge, according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred outside Quarter P’s located at 7146 Augusta Road on Sunday, March 23, and the victim was identified as Derrick Higgins.

The sheriff’s office said 28-year-old Keyshun Lamonte Bruster was charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Deputies said they do not believe the Higgins was Bruster’s intended target. They said the shooting happened following an altercation with another person…
