SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A search is underway Friday morning for a juvenile who escaped the custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice near an Upstate hospital.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office assisted DJJ at the Mary Black Hospital at 480 Floyd Road in reference to the runaway juvenile. Deputies said the juvenile was at that location for an appointment and took off running on foot.
