Clemson University has a longstanding tradition of updating Memorial Stadium, affectionately known as “Death Valley,” to honor its rich football history and recent achievements. In anticipation of the 2025 Spring Game on April 5, several new signage installations were introduced, eliciting a mix of reactions from the fanbase.​

Another prominent display celebrates the team’s national championships from 1981, 2016, and 2018, serving as a testament to the program’s enduring success. The stadium also features updated signage commemorating Clemson’s appearances in the College Football Playoff, starting from 2016 through 2021, with a newly added 2025 sign recognizing their participation in the inaugural 12-team playoff. This latest sign was strategically installed just days before the Spring Game to ensure fans could witness the updated accolades.
