Construction crews are continuing work in downtown Anderson to replace aging water lines.
According to project documents , the work involves replacing the cast iron water line along Main Street from Tribble Street to Reed Street and could take most of the year to complete.
However, crews have made steady progress on the project that began in mid-March. This week through April 17, contractors are set to continue construction along Main Street’s northbound lane from Sharpe Street to Earle Street.
