Pendleton residents should be aware of two upcoming road closures: on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m., for Pendleton Elementary School’s “Walk or Roll to School” event, there will be no entrance to East Queen Street from Boggs St., Crenshaw St, Woodland Dr., and Bailey Ave. The event encourages students to walk, bike, or skate to school from home or by parking at “The Dog House” and following the designated route, reminding participants to use sidewalks, watch their step, and wear helmets and protective gear, with photo sharing encouraged using #WalkorRollPES25.
