Moncks Corner fatal hit-and-run suspect turns self in, police say

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) — A Moncks Corner woman was arrested and charged in connection to a fatal hit-and-run that killed one and left another injured late Saturday, police said.

Dominique Stanley, 38, turned herself in Sunday and was charged with hit-and-run accident resulting in damage to attended vehicle, hit-and-run accident resulting in minor injury, hit-and-run accident resulting in death, according to Moncks Corner Interim Chief of Police Lee Mixon.

Police said a black Mazda CX5 struck two people who were assisting a third victim out of a car around 11:30 p.m. on Highway 52. Both were transported by EMS but one succumbed to her injuries and died, while the second victim survived with non life-threatening injuries…
