Woman facing charges after selling alcohol without permit, officials say

PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Officials said a Greenville woman is facing multiple charges after selling alcoholic beverages without a permit.

According to the State Law Enforcement Division (ALED), 51-year-old Ebony Patrice Clayborne stored alcoholic liquor in her place of a business without being authorized by law to do so.

Clayborne was arrested in Pickens County on unlawful storage or possession of alcoholic liqours in place of business first offense, unlawful sale of alcoholic liquors first offense and failure to secure required beer or wine sale permit…
