South Carolina homicide suspects apprehended at Dauphin County hotel

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Two South Carolina homicide suspects were arrested in Dauphin County Sunday afternoon by police investigating a reported stolen vehicle.

Latesha Fields, 31, and Payton Deal, 27, were apprehended at a Quality Inn hotel in Lower Paxton Township after an officer on patrol at 1:10 p.m. located a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Charlotte, NC parked there, police said.

An investigation determined Fields and Deal were suspects in a recent homicide in Duncan, SC, and were charged with other felony offenses including grand larceny and weapons violations elsewhere in the state…
