MAULDIN, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Mauldin Police Department said it is looking for the owner of a farm bird that was found on Friday.
Police said the guinea fowl was located in the Ridgestone Circle area.
According to the University of Kentucky, guinea fowl are typically raised for meat. They can also be kept as guard animals since they are very vocal when anything new enters the farm yard.
