Air Force won’t renew F-16 depot contract with Lockheed Martin

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Lockheed Martin confirmed the U.S. Air Force is ending its F-16 Depot Sustainment Program contract sooner than initially reported.

In 2020, Lockheed announced that the Air Force awarded the company a $900 million contract for a 10-year program that would include depot-level maintenance and aircraft modification in Greenville.
