City Council Approves Beginning Stages of Potential 150-Acre Housing Development

The Woodruff City Council approved the first reading of several items related to a possible housing development to be located near Highway 221 and Old Spartanburg Highway.

An unknown developer is purchasing several lots in the area totaling nearly 150 acres. The current owners requested that the lots be annexed into the city and zoned for R-2 Single Family Residential.
