PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Pickens County Sheriff Tommy Blankenship gave an update on a hiker who went missing two months ago at Table Rock State Park.
Stephanie Womacks, 52, was camping with her husband at Table Rock State Park when she was reported missing on March 3. Officials said she was last seen around 6 p.m., an hour after her husband left Womacks to go get supplies.
Previously, multiple agencies from across the Upstate including from Greenville, Anderson and Oconee Counties, along with the SLED, SCDNR, several K9′s, drones, and aviation were utilized daily during the search for Womack. The search grid was also extended into the Greenville Watershed that is adjacent to the state park.
