The family of a woman who was murdered in the Upstate is now filing suit against the suspects charged with the crime. The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office says 40 year old Colleen D’Ortona was found dead in Travelers Rest earlier this year.
A suspect, Michael Robert Clarkson, was arrested and charged with her murder. Investigators say the two had a relationship. Clarkson died after reportedly committing suicide before he was prosecuted.
