An Inman woman was arrested days after a man was killed in a hit-and-run in Clover.
Kailey Carpenter, 25, was arrested Friday morning, June 13. She was charged with leaving the scene of a collision involving death for her alleged involvement in a crash on June 8.
According to troopers, 31-year-old Raheem Parker was hit by a car while riding a bicycle on Highway 55 near Paraham Road. Parker pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said they believed the vehicle that hit him did not stop. Law enforcement issued a public plea for help identifying the driver, leading to Carpenter’s arrest five days later…
