ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Leaders in Anderson are scheduled to make a final vote on the county’s budget of more than $331 million, Tuesday night. One of the items, included in the budget, is for more officers at the new detention center.
The Anderson County Detention Center, on David Lee Coffee Place, is overcrowded. The sheriff’s office said it houses 575 inmates.
