GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – City leaders in Greenville said 90 acres of land off Laurens Road will be transformed into a space where thousands of people will be able to live, work, shop and play.
The Bolden Street District is being built along Laurens Road from Woodruff Road on toward I-85. City leaders told 7NEWS it’ll have something for everyone.
“It really results out of a multi-year planning process, you might call it a community conversation, that started about 2019 with a reimagining, if you will, of the Laurens Road corridor,” said Greenville City Council Member Wil Brasington. “Think less roadways and heavy traffic, and more pedestrian sidewalks, gorgeous landscaping, and lighting for safety purposes.”…
