City Tavern reopens in Greenville

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – City Tavern reopened in downtown Greenville after being closed for three months for construction.

An official ribbon cutting was held Monday afternoon, where city officials presented a check for $250,000 as part of the Facade Improvement Program. The program provides financial aid for property owners who make upgrades. With their assistance, City Tavern renovated the building exterior and ground floor.

The restaurant also now includes a full-service kitchen, but the owner believes even with the new changes, City Tavern will stay true to what long-time customers expect…
