GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Dangerous heat continues through the day Wednesday as a persistent “heat dome” sits over the western Carolinas. The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory until 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
A First Alert Weather Day is in effect through Wednesday as the area experiences dangerous heat and humidity. While temperatures decrease, the heat will linger into the weekend.
With Wednesday’s intense heat, the primary threats associated with the storm chance look to be straight-line wind and a minor hail threat.
