Barricaded suspect claimed to have bomb arrested in Spartanburg

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – A man who claimed to have a bomb while barricaded in a home was arrested in Spartanburg.

On Wednesday, officers with the Spartanburg Police Department responded to the 100 block of Booker T. Washington Drive after 8 a.m. to serve an arrest warrant on 35-year-old Jason Glover, of Spartanburg. Police said Glover was wanted for first-degree domestic violence, malicious injury to personal property and grand larceny.

Upon arrival, authorities reported that they saw Glover in an upstairs window refusing to surrender. Officers said the suspect made statements such as ‘I ain’t going to jail; I ain’t coming out; I got a knife.’
