The Mill at Fountain Inn, a historic property formerly known as the Ellison Flour Mill, announced July 1 it was recognized with a Preservation Honor Award at the 2025 South Carolina Historic Preservation Awards.
The property’s developers and contractors, which included Bryan Beal of B & B Real Estate Co., Aaron Peter of Project Plus Architects, Steve Foushee and Lou Bouvia of P+F Construction, and Janie Campbell of Rogers Lewis Group, were recognized for their work to turn the dilapidated mill into a community hub.
The Ellison Flour Mill was first constructed in 1940 and served as an industrial site in downtown Fountain Inn for decades. After sitting vacant for years, Innovative Hospitality & Development renovated, repurposed and revitalized the property, in partnership with P+F Construction and Project Plus Architects.
