SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — There is currently a heavy deputy presence in Chesnee, area after a traffic stop turned into a standoff.
According to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, officials were called to the scene on US 221 and R C Thompson Road around 10:48 a.m.
