WILLIAMSTON, S.C. (WSPA) — One Upstate town is getting started on what they believe is one of the largest housing projects the town has ever had.
Williamston is home of the Mineral Spring Park, where leaders said residents spend time with family. The park is also close to where developers are creating single family homes.
“We always knew that there’s only so much room in Greenville and Powdersville, so we knew that growth would be coming here,” said Mayor Rockey Burgess. “The previous administration did a really good job of setting up our planning commission.”…
