GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The dog days of summer have truly arrived with air temperatures in the low to mid 90s and near triple digit real feel temperatures for the weekend and into the upcoming work week. With heat and humidity around, late day storm chances are sure to be abound.
Be prepared to sweat it out and really feel the air this weekend as we return to a more typical July weather pattern which will feature hot and humid afternoons with familiar pop up showers and thunderstorms. Air temperatures will be in the 90s as heat index values elevated into the 100-105 degree range each day through Tuesday. Increased rain chances return by the middle of next week.
