Residents share ideas for Greenville’s wheelsports park

The city of Greenville plans to build a new “wheelsports park” and is gathering input from residents, including during a public meeting July 28.

The new park will include a concrete skatepark, an asphalt pump track and a paved bicycle playground. It will be located on an approximately 10-acre site adjacent to Greenville Downtown Airport.

Josue Rodriguez, co-founder of the Shelter Skate Church, said many people have waited a long time for this park. Greenville currently lacks an outdoor, public skatepark and pump track within the city limits.
