Pickens County SRO saves choking student, officials say

PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Pickens County Sheriffs Office said that a school resource officer saved a choking student on Monday.

Officials said that SRO Robert Timmons was in the cafeteria of Six Mile Elementary when a teacher told him that a child was choking.

The sheriff’s office said that SRO Timmons immediately performed medical aid, and the object was cleared from the child’s airway…
